Open specification vs hosted API

• Specification, grammars, and reference codec are licensed under Apache License 2.0. You may implement the wire format locally with no API key.
• Hosted services at api.aiscaffolds.online (validate, translate, compile, identity, optimize, billing) are commercial prepaid utilities.
• Pin vocab_hash from GET /v1/vocab/version for fleet conformance. Re-compile when the hash changes.

Service

The MA-25 protocol API provides validate, translate, compile, identity, grammar, and related utilities over HTTPS. Credits are prepaid; crypto top-up is via BTCPay. DOGE is the reliable rail today; BTC on-chain and Lightning may be degraded until store nodes are restored — check discovery JSON payment.rails.

No warranty

Services are provided as is. We do not guarantee uptime, latency, or fitness for a particular purpose. /v1/compile is keyword-assisted mapping, not general natural-language understanding. Use /v1/validate before relying on pipeline output.

Credits & payments

• New accounts receive trial credits at our discretion.
• Prepaid credits do not expire unless stated otherwise in discovery JSON.
• Crypto payments are final; refunds are at operator discretion when payment errors occur.
• Top-up requires a working BTCPay instance; check /health for payment status.

Acceptable use

No abuse of rate limits, credential sharing for evasion, or attempts to disrupt the service. We may suspend API keys that violate these terms.

Privacy

We store API keys, credit balances, and per-endpoint call counts for billing. Pipeline payloads may be logged for observability; do not send secrets in validate/compile requests.
